Steel Road plates are used for bridging gaps, channels and trenches on site and in roadways. used as a temporary fix to allow pedestrians or traffic to travel safely over hazards.
A standard steel plate is 1200 x 2400mm ( 8ft x 4ft) but we do have other sizes.
Description
At least 25% of the road plate MUST be supported on each side. Failure to do this may bend or damage the road plate which can lead to full replacement charge being responsibility of the customer. Our road plates can become slippery when wet, please make provision for this if using one for pedestrian access (you may find that adding a ground guard panel helps with this).
Warning!. Road plates can weigh as much as 400KG each. You must have machinery on site capable of unloading/loading and moving them safely. Do not attempt to move these items by hand.
