We've chosen the excellent Manitou compact forklifts as they offer four wheel steer, four wheel drive and the ability to lift to 5.85metres, whist still being physically small enough to manoeuvre around the tightest sites. Although the lifting capacity of any tele handler decreases as the jib/load is extended the maximum capacity at ground level for this machine is 2500kg. As this machine is only 1.8 metres wide and 1.9 metres high it can operate just as well on tight sites with limited space as it can on larger projects. Access to the cab is best in class and easy to operate with very intuitive control systems and self-levelling forks our customers have been very impressed with this machine and it represents a very good, practical and safe method of material handling to suit our customer's needs.
